Burkina: Death of Pastor Issaka Flavien Tapsoba, former president of the CENI
Ouagadougou, September 20, 2023 (AIB) – The former president of the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI, 1999-2001), Reverend Pastor Issaka Flavien Tapsoba, passed away on September 19, 2023.
In a press release, the current president of the CENI, Elysé Ouédraogo, saluted the memory of a man of faith, generous, discreet and courteous.
Mr. Ouédraogo also praised the work done by the illustrious person who died during the municipal elections of September 24, 2000,
He says he is confident his legacy will endure as a source of inspiration for generations.
“I express on behalf of the CENI, my most sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Reverend Pastor Issaka Flavien TAPSOBA. I think of his spiritual family, of the Federation of Evangelical Churches and Missions (FEME) as well as of all those who had the privilege of working alongside him,” Elysé Ouédraogo also wrote.
