A little while ago (Thursday), firefighters from the Krayot station burned a gas balloon on a balcony on the seventh floor out of 25 floors on SY Agnon Street in the Mishkenot Amanim neighborhood. Heavy damage was done to the apartment.

The deputy commander of the shift, Lahav Yiftach Weisberg, summed up the incident: “Firefighters were called to the scene, identified a gas cylinder that caught fire, sought contact with the hotline and conducted scans throughout the building and gave instructions to the occupants.”

Frightened residents reported echoes of an explosion and thick smoke that filled the building. Fortunately, the incident ended without casualties.
