During the early hours of July 16, a tragic accident occurred on the Vía Libertadores, in the Ayacucho region of Peru, when a bus from the Molina Unión company, which had left Lima bound for Ayacucho, fell into an abyss, resulting in the death of 25 people and leaving several injured.

The accident occurred at kilometer 205 of the highway, near the Ccarhuapampa sector.

According to local media reports, The bus went off the road for reasons still unknown. and rolled down a slope of approximately 200 meters. Initial reports indicate that the vehicle left the road and fell into the abyss, causing a scene of devastation.

Videos shared on social networks, They show the unit completely destroyed at the bottom of the ravine. Around the bus you can see the lifeless bodies of several passengers and luggage scattered around the area.

Rescue and emergency teams quickly arrived at the scene. after the accident to treat the injured and recover the bodies of the victims. The police have launched an investigation to determine the exact causes of the bus’s derailment and subsequent crash.

The accident has shocked the local community and the victims’ families, who are demanding answers and measures to prevent future tragedies on one of the busiest and most dangerous routes in the region.
