One Person Dead and Over 50 Injured in Grand Canyon Bus Rollover Incident

An unfortunate accident occurred at the Grand Canyon in Arizona on Tuesday morning, resulting in the death of one person and causing injuries to more than 50 others. The incident involved a bus that rolled over at Grand Canyon West, just before 10 a.m., according to local emergency officials from Hualapai Emergency Operations.

Reports state that a total of 57 individuals were involved in the crash. Eight people with severe injuries were airlifted to nearby hospitals, while those with noncritical injuries were transported by ground transportation. The rollover took place within the Grand Canyon Resort Corp Circle in Terminal 1, as confirmed by the officials.

Grand Canyon West is situated within the Hualapai Reservation at the western rim of the canyon in Arizona. The Hualapai Nation Police Department, along with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, is currently investigating the incident and the cause of death.
