bus transformed to music school in london

by time news
Learning to play a musical instrument helps children develop cognitively and emotionally. Based on this, a different music school has been opened in the UK with the idea of making music education possible for everyone. This school, which teaches several musical instruments, operates on a bus.

This red double-decker music bus plies the streets of London. This is the Music on Wheels bus, which aims to promote playing musical instruments among children and youth.

The Lyceum School of Music made such a music bus a reality in April 2019 with the help of a crowdfunding campaign and the support of several sponsors. This music bus has many musical instruments like violins, pianos, guitars and saxophones. Apart from this, the Music Bus has teachers to discover and encourage budding young musicians. They will also help children find the musical instrument that suits their taste.

Our aim is to promote music learning among people. Apart from this, one of the organizers of the Music on Wheels Bus, Petru Cotarcia, said that such a concept was implemented to make music learning affordable for everyone.

Meanwhile, there is a general perception that music studies in the country are often expensive and only for the rich. So many parents think that their children are not fit for it. But to change this perception, the government has implemented a national scheme for music education. As part of this, the document released on June 25 states that children between the ages of 4 and 14 should be given at least one hour of compulsory music education per week.

However, Lyceum Music provides music education directly to those who cannot study music in schools. The Music on Wheels bus is currently touring London’s Ravenscourt Park, Notting Hill and Fulham. The music bus service will be available on weekdays from 4 pm to 6 pm and on weekends from 11 am to 4 pm.

Earlier, the story of a Malayali engineer who built his own plane to travel with his family in London was in the news. Former MLA Prof. Ashok Thamarakshan, son of AV Thamarakshan and Dr. Suhridalatha, built the plane himself. He has already flown to different countries in this plane. It is a type of aircraft that can travel for four people.
