The change in marital status has led to a change in business: In a particularly surprising move, she decided Kim Kardashian Shut down the KKW FRAGRANCE perfume brand that launched in 2017 to work on “rebranding,” she told her followers last weekend. “On May 1 at midnight, the KKW FRAGRANCE site will be closed so we can re-launch a fragrance under a brand new name and under a new online store where you can purchase from all beauty categories under one site,” wrote the reality star and businesswoman at Instagram – where she has nearly 300 million followers .

Kardashian added that she appreciates the loyalty of her followers and noted that she “invests her heart and soul in every bottle” and is therefore eager to introduce them to the new chapter in her perfume journey (while complimenting with a 40 per cent discount while stocks last). It should be noted that last August Kardashian closed the cosmetics brand KKW Beauty and even then announced that it will be back soon with a new branding.

Although Kardashian has not elaborated at this time on the reason that led to the decision to rebrand, there is no escape from concluding that her divorce fromKanye West And the fact that it has already officially taken its name (and more importantly, on social media) from its name, is the main reason for the brand change (as mentioned, KKW is Kim Kardashian West).

Recall that Kardashian’s perfume brand was first launched in November 2017 and made much more noise (and money) than expected. Kardashian opened the online sale of her perfume and within a day increased her bank account by $ 10 million after her fans ordered the perfume as if it were hot rolls coming out of the oven – all without knowing what smell it was. You read that right – the perfume went on sale when the only ones who knew what the scent was were Kim, her sisters and the staff she worked with.

So, ostensibly, this is a suicidal move from a business point of view – to replace all the branding associated with the existing business, but as mentioned it is Kim Kardashian, a gifted businesswoman who reinvented herself every time. Kardashian, like her younger sister Kylie Jenner Which is a cosmetics empire in itself, knows that all that matters today is social networking and therefore the branding of her business will survive – if she pumps it hard enough on her page (and will surely get help from her family, a matter of a few hundred million more followers).

Kim, who in recent years has proven herself as a shrewd business, can certainly afford to take this very brave step after gaining a fan base as well as her first billion, which will surely help her push the new branding forward and even, perhaps, leave dust for the old branding.
