Marianna Palella, founder of Citrus L’Orto Italiano, wins the 2021 GammaDonna Award for having been able to enhance the excellence of the territory while respecting the principles of sustainability, ethics and transparency within a supply chain, that of fruit and vegetables, which is strategic for the country’s economy. Innovation, passion and hybridization of languages, the distinctive ingredients with which it has been able to give life to a supply chain capable of generating value for the whole community.

The innovation story of Marianna and the other 5 entrepreneurs, finalists of the 13th GammaDonna Award, was told in a ‘TV special’ premiered last night by the TV studios of QVC, the multi-channel shopping retailer. Special guest Massimo Gaudina, Head of the Representation in Milan of the European Commission, institutional partner of GammaDonna, which this year established a Special Mention for Sustainable Development, awarded to the founder of Worldrise, Mariasole Bianco.
