During the investigations, the agents discovered that Leandro is part of a gang specializing in the “love scam”. Security cameras caught the suspect buying gasoline and a lighter at a gas station. The items, which were used to set fire to the businessman’s car, were paid for with the virtual card on the cell phone. On the day of the crime, Eduardo left home with a bottle of wine to meet “Jonnas”, a young man he had met on a dating app. According to police, the businessman was shot after reacting to the robbery.
