Buy a CD in a second-hand store – and find a chilling discovery

Kennedy’s photo (screenshot photo)

Usually when buying discs (at least those who still do it), what is inside the case is pretty much known in advance. Usually it’s the picture of the album or a little book with the lyrics to the songs. But what a guy from Texas found inside his disc is definitely special, and maybe even a little creepy.

George Rebels bought a CD set of hits by the musical group “Beckman Turner O’Bride’s”. When he opened the case he was amazed to find an old Polaroid photo of former US President John F. Kennedy, taken on November 22, 1963, the day he was shot to death.

“I was shocked, to say the least,” said Rebels in a conversation with WFAA reporters. “You immediately realized that this is a picture that has not been published anywhere. I was very excited.”

Paris Roxtol, a former FBI agent and historian, estimated that the photo was taken shortly after the president’s motorcade set off in Dallas. But despite the history surrounding the filmed event, Roxall explained that there is no high monetary value. “I would say that if someone thinks the picture is worth a lot of money, then prepare to be very disappointed,” he noted.

Rebels said he hasn’t decided yet whether he wants to keep the photo or sell it to a collector, but he’s still curious to know who took the photo and how it ended up on the CD case.
