According to a report, Borussia Dortmund is about to sign international Armel Bella-Kotchap.
According to information from the pay-TV broadcaster Sky, the Bundesliga soccer club has already reached an agreement with the 21-year-old defender from the Premier League relegated Southampton. Bella-Kotchap should therefore change to runner-up on loan with a subsequent purchase option. The clubs would still work on the details.
The former Bochum player has a contract with Southampton until the summer of 2026, but is likely to pursue other sporting goals after relegation from the Premier League. Bella-Kotchap, who is said to have been in talks with Eintracht Frankfurt, has so far played two international matches for the DFB team of national coach Hansi Flick. (dpa)
