In the midst of the parliamentary recess, seven of the 15 councilors of Sidrolândia, a city 71 kilometers from Campo Grande, opened a CPI (Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) against Mayor Vanda Camilo (PP) during an extraordinary session held on Thursday night (27) .

Voted in favour: Enelvo Iradi Felini Junior (PSDB), José Ademir Gabardo (PSDB), Elieu da Silva Vaz (PSB), Adavilton Brandão (MDB), Izaqueu de Souza Diniz (Patriota) – known as Gabriel Auto Car, Cristina Fiuza ( MBD) and Cleyton Martins Teixeira (PSB). Otacir Pereira Figueiredo (PP), known as Gringo, abstained from the vote. The rest did not attend the session.

Now, the commission led by Enelvo Junior has 90 days to investigate the complaints pointed out by Gaeco. It is noteworthy that Cleyton Martins was appointed as rapporteur, Ademir Gabardo as secretary, and finally, Adavilton and Izaqueu as members.

The initiative takes place after Gaeco (Special Action Group for the Repression of Organized Crime) launched the second phase of Operation Tromper in the city, last Friday (21). A group of parliamentarians decided to investigate whether there was administrative impropriety by the Executive.

As reported by the report, the action investigates a criminal organization for fraud in bids, embezzlement of public money and payment of bribes to public agents.

Gaeco identified, through breach of bank secrecy, that commissioned servant Tiago Basso da Silva received R$ 2,000 in his personal account from one of the companies involved in the scheme, PC Mallmann (Rocamora). The server was exonerated by the mayor this Monday (24).

Until 2020, he served in a commissioned position as head of the enforcement and inspection sector and attested to invoices, one of which was identified in an allegedly fraudulent bid.

As consulted on the Transparency Portal, the public servant was paid BRL 1,900. Lawyer João Carlos Gomes filed a writ of habeas corpus to free Basso.

The second phase of the operation also arrested businessmen Ueverton da Silva Macedo, known as “Frescura”, and Roberto da Conceição Valençuela. Roberto is a managing partner of R & C Comércio, Serviços e Importação Ltda. The company’s main activity is the retail trade of hardware and tools. Plus 55 side activities.

The arrest of businessman Ricardo Rocamora, who is on the run, was also decreed. “Tromper”, verb that gives name to the operation, translates from the French language as to deceive. The first stage was triggered in the month of May.

The report tried to contact the Chief Executive to take a position, but the cell phone has been turned off since Friday. The space remains open.
