Former world champion Christoph Kramer wants to continue working in the football business after his active career. The Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder still has a contract until June 30, 2025 and already has ideas for later. The 32-year-old said in an interview with the “Rheinische Post” that he definitely sees himself as a coach. “I need turf under my feet. I don’t see myself as a manager, although you should certainly never say never,” said Kramer.

He doesn’t yet have the end of his active professional career in sight. “I want to play football for a long time. That’s the best thing I can do,” said the Gladbach professional. “Everything that comes after that will be a little less great. I really appreciate everything I have, and I already know that from the day I stop, I’ll mourn it.
