By three o’clock in Chukotka, 23 percent of voters have voted – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

by time news

By three o’clock in the afternoon in Chukotka, 23 percent of voters had voted for candidates for deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, this is a little more than seven thousand people, the press service of the district government said. Five out of seven heads of municipalities cast their votes for the candidates.

The number of deputies of the district parliament who voted in the elections is slightly less. This is due to the fact that some voters are registered in other regions and can only vote for candidates to the State Duma.

Recall that voting in Russia takes place over three days – from 17th to 19th September. In Chukotka, in addition to deputies of the State Duma and the regional parliament, representatives of local self-government bodies are elected.
