According to the text, the end of its operations will be on October 11, due to the fact that the company has “a strong commitment to the search for profitability and growth.”

“For more than a decade we have provided service in several cities and we have sought to continue growing, generating profits for our driver partners and taxi drivers and offering the best experience for passengers and corporate clients.

However, despite this solid and long-term commitment to the country, the Mexican market has not responded to the expected level of growth and profitability.”

In this sense, after thoroughly analyzing the options and the viability of the operation, we came to the conclusion of closing our activities in our country, but not before thanking everyone for their trust in this long journey.

The future of Cabify

Although the Spanish company is withdrawing from Mexico, it will continue to operate in other Latin American countries, such as Chile, Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Uruguay.
