Cadiz players celebrate (La Liga)
The 16th round of the Spanish league opened today (Friday), when Celta Vigo played host to Elche and won 0:1. In the following match, Valencia lost 1-0 to Cádiz, with the match starting 11 minutes late after a fan collapsed in the stands and suffered a heart attack.

The bat players and their opponent were already going to take the field, but in the stands they saw a gathering of people surrounding a man who had a heart attack, and he underwent CPR and received medical treatment from the medical teams of both teams, when his pulse thankfully returned. By the way, this is not the first time this has happened in a Cádiz game this season, when a similar incident also occurred in their game against Barcelona, so it caused the match to be stopped temporarily and not to delay the starting whistle.
There was of course also a game in which the guest in yellow scored the only goal of the game and left with three valuable points. Ruben Sobrino set up Ruben Alcaras for the goal in the ninth minute, when the winner temporarily rose above the red line. Valencia was clearly superior, but was unable to translate the absolute control into goals at the Stadion and suffered a second loss in a row.

Elche – Salta Vigo 1:0
Celta Vigo broke a streak of eight games without a win and narrowly escaped from the bottom. Elche continued to struggle as she is in last place in the league, still without a win and seems to be on the safe way to the minor league.
The guest started the game well and already in the fifth minute Iago Espas found the net from close range after a mistake in Alche’s defense, a goal that was saved and gave Celta Vigo three valuable points. The team from the last place tried to get back into the game, but the great ability of Agustin Marchesin prevented it. The host also remained with ten men after Pedro Bigas committed a foul without the ball and saw a straight red in the 92nd minute.
