CAF has proposed the distribution of a dividend among its shareholders for a gross amount of 0.86 euros per share, charged to the results corresponding to the financial year 2022.
This is stated in the call for the next shareholders’ meeting of the train and bus manufacturer based in Beasain (Guipúzcoa), published in the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
The meeting will be held on June 10 at 12:00 noon on first call or, if a sufficient quorum is not reached, on a second call on June 11 at the same time.
Last year, the company delivered a total dividend of 1 euro per share, divided into an ordinary payment of 0.4 euros in January and a complementary payment of 0.6 euros per share in July.
In 2022, CAF obtained a net attributable profit of 52 million, which represents a drop of 39% compared to the profits registered a year ago, due to the impact of inflation and the crisis of raw materials.
In addition to the dividend, the meeting will re-elect the CEO, Javier Martínez Ojinaga, as executive director, at the same time that it will ratify the appointment of Begoña Beltrán de Heredia as independent director.
