CAF’s railway portfolio reached 12,156 million euros in the first quarter of 2023

Sales from the railway business totaled 738 million euros, a figure that represents 78 percent of the group’s total sales and an increase of 28 percent on those registered in the same quarter of the previous year. The operating result of the CAF Group as a whole stood at 43 million euros as of March 31, 23 percent more than in the first three months of 2022.

Requests

During this first quarter, CAF has been awarded the supply of eighteen regional trains for the Coradia platform, eleven for the New Aquitaine Region, in France, and seven for Senegal; and 31 trams for Budapest, the third unit expansion option under the initial contract signed in 2014.
