(ANSA) – CAGLIARI, JULY 4 – The third edition of “A sea of emotions” is underway, a project that will allow members of the National Association of Civilian Invalid Mutilated to enjoy their holidays at Poetto. A major innovation: the number of stations will double, from 10 to 20. With the double shift (morning-afternoon) the service can offer hospitality to 40 members every day, plus companions. From June 15 to September 10, the stations, consisting of a beach umbrella with deckchairs or chairs, will be available to over 5,000 members of the association. The project was presented at Poetto. “Anmic – said the president Fabrizio Rodin – is very proud of the project Un mare di emozioni for its ability to have a concrete and positive impact on the daily lives of many people with disabilities. Thanks to this project, Anmic is able to offer 40 shaded places every day which, considering both direct users and companions, are equivalent to more than one hundred people who can appreciate the sea and the beach in an accessible and inclusive context”. In the “Golfo 7” establishment, chosen by Anmic for its members, there are walkways to the shoreline, a large solarium platform, large spaces for changing rooms, showers and clothes storage without custody and job chairs to allow transit on the sand and entry into the water. The position of Golfo 7 also guarantees the proximity of a large parking area and a bus stop, therefore the establishment is easily reachable both with public and private transport. It also allows the use of municipal toilets accessible to people with disabilities. (ANSA).
