The general management of the Caisse des Depots et Consignations welcomes this new presidential orientation. In a press release sent to the Léral Group, it pledges to mobilize all the necessary means to support the State in its resolve to provide decent, accessible and quality housing to the majority of Senegalese people.
To do this, CDC makes available its construction materials analysis laboratory, its subsidiaries operating in the real estate and construction sectors, as well as its technical and financial partners.
In addition, a targeted approach will be adopted towards housing cooperatives, private developers and their umbrella structures. Special attention will also be paid to the concerns of the diaspora, ensuring equitable spatial distribution of interventions, in close collaboration with local authorities.
According to the press release, to ensure a better coordination of its interventions, and in accordance with the recommendations of the highest authorities, the CDC is committed to developing synergies with all relevant stakeholders. This includes local authorities, the General Delegation for the Promotion of Urban Poles of Diamniadio and Lac Rose (DGPU), the SN HLM, SICAP, relevant ministries, public service concessionaires, as well as any other interested actor.
