Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner celebrated her 75th birthday with an intimate dinner gathering in Malibu, surrounded by close friends and family.
Sharing moments from the special occasion on Instagram, Jenner expressed her gratitude for the presence of her loved ones. “Family is everything,” she wrote. “So many kids and grandkids, all in one place, at one time. You all made my birthday evening so special…and your beyond thoughtful and generous gifts made the night all the more fun (WOW!) I love you all so much.”
Among the familiar faces in the photos shared by Jenner were her son Brody Jenner and Kim Kardashian. Kardashian, who is 44, also took to her own Instagram to share a photo with Jenner, simply writing, “Happy 75th Birthday. I love you.”
While several of Jenner’s six children were absent from the festivities, Brody Jenner was the sole biological child pictured in the celebratory images. Caitlyn has a blended family, encompassing six biological children from previous marriages – Burt and Cassandra Marino, Brandon and Brody Jenner, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner – as well as stepchildren from her marriage to Kris Jenner: Kourtney, Khloé, and Kim Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian.
Jenner opened up about her journey of sharing her gender reassignment surgery with her family during a 2019 interview with GIBLIB. She described a heart-to-heart conversation with each of her ten children, emphasizing their acceptance and support.
Despite the strong familial bond, Jenner has previously acknowledged moments of distance with some of her children, attributing it to the complexities of their individual lives.
In a 2017 interview with Diane Sawyer, she admitted to experiencing varying degrees of closeness with her children, acknowledging that busy schedules and life’s demands could sometimes lead to less frequent communication.
