Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF) confirmed this Monday, the 22nd, the launch of a package of advantages in products and services for INSS retirees and pensioners. Among the novelties are special conditions on credit cards, insurance and also on the bank’s checking account.

The launch of the package and the content of the measures were brought forward this Monday by the BroadcastGrupo Estado’s real-time news system.

The package is related to the Meu INSS+ virtual wallet, launched by the Ministry of Social Security this Monday and which will also serve to prove the identity of the beneficiaries, according to the folder.

According to Caixa, the advantages will include discounts of up to 75% on purchases at pharmacies, lower prices on consultations, exams, nutritional guidance and residential assistance.

They include a credit card with the Elo brand, controlled by the bank in partnership with Bradesco (BVMF:) and Banco do Brasil (BVMF:), in addition to the Elo debit card, two lines of insurance and the current account, in addition to the program of punctuation dotz (BVMF:).

Elo cards will grant discounts at pharmacies, and up to 50% on movie tickets and popcorn, among others. The Sim Elo Card will have five additional benefits, linked to insurance and the Elo Mania Club. On the Elo Flex platform, there will also be access to other benefits.

In Dotz, which allows the accumulation of points from purchases in certain physical and virtual stores, there will be a promotion over the next 30 days in which INSS beneficiaries who have a Caixa credit card will receive a 100% bonus on points redeemed in transfers to Dotz. The limit is 10,000 points.

In addition, the public bank will offer senior life insurance, with discounts on consultations, exams and pharmacies, and the easy residential, with coverage against fire, theft, rent expenses and assistance.

As for the current account, the bank will grant exemption from the basket of services for three months to retirees and pensioners who have or want to open accounts at Caixa. It will also be possible to convert the amount into mobile credit. Membership can be done at branches or online.
