Calabria, Occhiuto: “We are thinking about a regional fund for access to credit for new start-ups”

In Calabria we will use them for a fund that assists start-ups in accessing credit, to give them the opportunity to have the resources to launch successful projects that can help this region grow”. This is the announcement by Roberto Occhiuto, governor of Calabria, on the sidelines of his speech at the final evening of the Summer School ‘Si può già fare’, the three-day event organized by the L’Orodicalabria association dedicated to young Calabrian entrepreneurs. “Calabria already has an extraordinary innovation ecosystem”, continues the president of the region, referring to the excellence of UNICAL, “which it can make available to the country and Europe for a Mattei Plan that truly makes Calabria and the Mezzogiorno the hub of Europe for businesses that will have to develop the countries that overlook the southern shore of the Mediterranean”.
