Mohammad Fakhrul Islam, one of the insurance entrepreneurs of the country, said that IDRA must play a neutral and strict role in the black chapter that has been written in the country’s insurance industry in the last one and a half decades.
Blaming IDRA for the crisis in the country’s insurance sector, he said, as a regulatory authority, IDRA’s wrong actions and indulgences have caused the crisis in the insurance sector.
Blaming the failure of IDRA as a regulatory body for the embezzlement of money that has been embezzled by the board of directors of First Life in the last one and a half decades, he said, those involved should be held accountable.
At this time, Fakhrul Islam called upon all concerned in the sector to unite and work for the development of insurance.
