The warm sand of your favorite beach, the sunny terrace of a mountain restaurant, the swimming pool of a campsite at the other end of France… More than one in two French people (55%) plan to leave on vacation this summer, according to an Ifop study (in PDF). A percentage up compared to summer 2020 (47%), marked by the health crisis.

But while inflation exceeded the 5% mark over one year in May for the first time since 1985, the future vacationers remain attentive to expenses: a quarter of them foresee a lower budget than last summer, while more than 7 out of 10 French people (73%) consider that the price of the rental is a determining criterion for the choice of holiday accommodation, according to the same survey.

Has the level of inflation prompted you to revise your plans for this summer downwards? On the contrary, have you cut back on your daily expenses to allow you to spend dream holidays? You were hoping to go on vacation for the first time but you had to give up? Your testimony interests franceinfo. Explain to us the trade-offs you have made by answering the questionnaire below.
