Rather than working on strategies of force, priority should be given to more delightful and less boring methods, because the best command is the one that requires the consent of the governed.
Only the people can constitute a real protection for a power. The loyalty and support of the people protect and defend a palace better than any weapon. In short, the people are the best shield for a palace.
