Social organization Sampriti Bangladesh called for peace and harmony against violence, terrorism and conflict.

On Saturday (August 3), the leaders of the organization called upon the countrymen in an exchange meeting at the capital’s Sirdap Auditorium, saying that the solution to the national crisis lies in mutual dialogue. Apart from the leaders of the organization, religious leaders, teachers, social workers and children of freedom fighters were also present in the meeting.

The central convener of the organization, prominent media personality Piyush Banerjee presided over the exchange meeting. Organized by the member secretary of the organization Professor Dr. Mamun Al Mahtab is a dreamer.

In the controversial situation of the country, the religious leaders spoke by highlighting the philosophy of their respective religions, identifying mutual discussion and dialogue as one of the ways to solve the crisis.

In the meeting, condolence was expressed over the recent violence. The negotiators demanded proper treatment for the injured. They also spoke against unnecessary harassment by arresting innocent people. Sampriti Bangladesh calls for providing real and rational information about those arrested and stopping the ‘trading of arrests’.

The negotiators felt that the students were not involved in disrupting the normal life of the people by destroying important national structures. The negotiators also expressed the view that the peaceful movement of students cannot have anything to do with jail breaking and freeing of hundreds of prisoners including militants and looting weapons.

Sampriti Bangladesh calls for the awareness of the common people against the spreaders of rumors at home and abroad and the practice of impartial journalism by highlighting the truth.
