14 People Dead in Firecracker Shop Accident on Tamil Nadu-Karnataka Border: AAMUK General Secretary Urges Safety Measures

Chennai – In a tragic incident, 14 individuals from Tamil Nadu lost their lives in an accident at a firecracker shop in Attipally, located on the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border. AAMUK General Secretary DTV Dhinakaran expressed his deep condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families. He is also praying for the speedy recovery of those undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Expressing concern over the increasing number of deaths and accidents in firecracker manufacturing places, godowns, and sales shops, Dhinakaran called on authorities to investigate whether proper safety guidelines are being followed. He emphasized the importance of taking appropriate measures to prevent further accidents.

Dhinakaran took to social media to share his thoughts, stating, “The news that 14 people from Tamil Nadu have died in an accident at a firecrackers shop in Attipally on the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border is heartbreaking. My deepest condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families. I pray to the almighty God that all those injured in the same accident who are undergoing treatment at the hospital will recover completely and return home soon. In view of the increasing number of deaths and accidents in firecrackers godowns and shops in the past few days, I request the Government of Tamil Nadu to investigate whether proper safety and guidelines are being followed in all firecracker manufacturing places, godowns, and shops and to take appropriate measures to prevent further such accidents.”

The AAMUK General Secretary’s call for action comes in the wake of a series of accidents in recent days, underscoring the urgent need for improved safety standards in the firecracker industry.
