Call for swift action to stop miscreant anarchy

Saiful Haque, general secretary of Biplabhi Workers Party, has called for the prevention of inactivity of over-enthusiasts on the occasion of the mass uprising of the students. He said, take immediate steps to stop all misdeeds including encroachment of miscreants, Mastani and anarchy. The possibility of democratic transformation of the state cannot be destroyed in any way.

He said this during a meeting with district committee leaders at the central office of the Revolutionary Workers Party at Segunbagicha in the capital on Friday (August 16) afternoon.

At the beginning of the meeting, the students paid their respects to the martyrs during the movement and condoled with their bereaved family members.

Saiful Haque said, miscreants have continued anarchy, looting and encroachment to tarnish the success of the student uprising. The possibility of democratic transformation of the state after the fall of Awami fascism cannot be destroyed by these misdeeds. Necessary administrative and political steps should be taken to stop it immediately.

Calling upon all concerned to prevent any over-enthusiastic inactivity, he said, the students should always be alert so that the opportunists do not question the victory of the students by taking advantage of the situation. Opportunities should be identified.

Saiful Haque expressed hope that the interim government will hold the democratic desire of mass awakening-mass coup and take urgent steps accordingly.

He said, multifaceted activities are going on to fail this new government. Citizens should play a united role against these evil activities.

Anshar Ali Dulal, Shikdar Harun Mahmud, Sajeeb Sarkar Ratan, Khalilur Rahman, Mofazzal Hossain Moshtaq, Abul Kalam, Imran Hossain, Mohammad Salauddin, Mohammad Real and others were present in the meeting.
