Speaking during a meeting under the theme “Women’s voices for a future of peace and justice”, organized at the headquarters of the Italian parliament by the Association of Moroccan Women in Italy, Aïcha Rahal, president of the association , welcomed the increasingly growing international support for the autonomy plan presented by Morocco to resolve the artificial dispute created around the Moroccan Sahara.
In this sense, she recalled that the largest nations, including the United States, have expressed their support for the autonomy plan under Moroccan sovereignty as the one and only solution to resolve this regional conflict which has lasted too long.
Along the same lines, Ms. Souad Sbai, former Italian MP and president of the Association of Moroccan Women in Italy, highlighted the outpouring of support for the autonomy plan under Moroccan sovereignty, welcoming the growth experienced by the Southern Provinces of the Kingdom at all levels.
Ms. Sbai also gave an overview of the evolution of the situation of women in Morocco under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, noting that numerous initiatives and reforms have contributed to emancipation and development. Moroccan women.
