Police in the British city of Kent were called after a released ‘crocodile’ was seen on the grass in one of the houses, and discovered that it was a 60 cm long plastic toy. “You made me jump like a deer while I almost ran over it”

Police in the UK city of Kent were alerted after a crocodile was seen freely on grass last Wednesday morning, but a brief inspection revealed it was a plastic toy. A man doing a morning run was startled at the sight of the animal turning out to be a plastic toy.

The cops took the toy to prevent him from scaring someone else or reporting it again to the police. A police spokesman said: “Kent police were called to Queenborough Street, which burned at 7:42 a.m. Wednesday, after a concerned citizen reported that they thought he saw a crocodile on the side of the road.”

An eyewitness told local media: “To the one who left the plastic crocodile along Queenborough Road this morning, you made me jump like a deer while I almost ran over him. I guess you think it made me laugh, well, so yeah, keep up the good work buddy.”

This is not the first time police in Kent have been called to alarming findings only to find that it is not all as it seems. Unidentified bones were washed ashore at the Whittestival in April 2020. But it was soon confirmed that the remains belonged to an animal.

Armed police and a police helicopter were called to Kent in May 2020 after a large “cat” was spotted, police discovered it was a life-size statue of a tiger.
