New steps are continuously taken to deal with cyber crime. In this sequence, the Telecom Department has asked all the operators (Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea, BSNL) to play cyber crime awareness caller tune. It is suggested to play this caller tune 8-10 times a day. It has been said in the order that this caller tune will be provided by the Indian Cyber Crime Co-ordination Center (14C). It will be provided by the center under the Home Ministry. The order issued regarding this on December 18 said, ‘Users will be made aware through caller tune campaign. An announcement regarding this will be made before the call. This will be provided by the nodal officer of 14C. This is why the caller tune should be played 8-10 times a day. It has been said in the order that telecom operators should take immediate action on this. Caller tune related to cyber crime will be provided every week.
There will be changes in the week
There will be a change in everything related to caller tune. Because after the arrival of the new caller tune, it will be provided in a new way. In fact, many cases of cyber fraud have come to light in the past. Cases of digital arrest have also started increasing rapidly. In this, the scammers pretend to be judges, police officers etc. After this, money is extorted from people.
Cases of fake digital arrest came to light
Center and Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) have also introduced a system. With its help, arrangements are being made to block Indian mobile numbers and international calls. Recently, they were used by scammers in the case of fake digital arrest. Police officers, their use was seen more in FedEx scams.
