jpnn.comJAKARTA – The management of the Perindo Party founded by Hary Tanoe is experiencing turbulence. The reason is, the boss of the MNC Group is considered authoritarian and very centralistic in leading the party.

“Hary Tanoe’s leadership is very personal and authoritarian, so it needs to be corrected so that Perindo becomes a political party that is not just a political tool for personal interests,” said former Chairman of the North Maluku DPW, Mukti Baba, in his press conference in Jakarta.

Mukti Baba, who was fired by Hary Tanoe, has filed a lawsuit application to the Jakarta State Administrative Court (TUN) regarding the Decree of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights concerning the Ratification of Changes to the Management of the Central Leadership Council of the Perindo Party for the 2022-2027 period.

“We, together with the Advocates Team from the Lukmanul Hakim & Partners Law Firm, have registered a lawsuit application,” he explained.

Mukti said that the substance of his lawsuit was related to the allegation that the Minister of Law and Human Rights was not careful in issuing a decree regarding the ratification of changes to the management of the Perindo Party’s Central Leadership Council.

The reason is that the changes to the management structure were proposed by the authorized party.

He explained that the term of office of the DPP Perindo Party management was 5 years, starting from July 2014 when the first AD/ART was ratified.

“Instead of holding a congress as the Party’s Supreme Consultative Forum which is held every five years, Hary Tanoe has instead made changes after changes to the party’s Articles of Association, where one of the most fundamental changes is changing the article that regulates the congress to elect the general chairman, to a congress to elect extraordinary members of the Party Unity Council (MPP) which he himself leads,” he said.
