Residents of Rahat Speak Out After Arrest of Hamas Terrorists
In the wake of the recent announcement that two Hamas terrorists were apprehended after infiltrating Israeli territory, residents of the city of Rahat are speaking out about their concerns and demands for justice.
One resident, Mohammad Alkarnawi, expressed anger and a call for extreme measures, stating, “Impose the death penalty on the terrorists. We are not ready to accept people from Gaza with us, not even to work. We are done with them staying to work in Gaza.”
Another resident, identified only as A., emphasized the seriousness of the situation, saying, “This is a very serious case. As a resident of Rahat, I was in danger all this time without knowing it. The family that hid the terrorists endangered all residents of Rahat, and the state should deprive them of citizenship and deport them to Gaza immediately.”
Raki Ziadena echoed similar sentiments, stressing that the residents of Rahat will not tolerate terrorists and murderers among them. Ziadena also highlighted the city’s commitment to peaceful coexistence and the sacrifices made in the ongoing conflict, stating, “Rahat is a city that advocates peaceful coexistence. Rahat paid a heavy price in this war and continues to pay.”
