Camaïeu: “Without state aid, our plan is not complete, so it would be liquidation”, warns the shareholder

by time news

It is this Wednesday afternoon, September 28, that Wilhelm Hubner, the president of HPB (Hermione People & Brands), the shareholder of Camaïeu, will present before the Commercial Court of Lille his continuation plan, which provides for the sale of 208 of the brand’s 514 stores. The women’s fashion brand, once a leader in the sector, has been in receivership since August 1, 2022. It was taken over two years ago at the helm of this same commercial court (already…) by the Financière immobilière bordelaise ( FIB) of businessman Michel Ohayon, parent company of HPB, which also owns Go Sport, La Grande Récré and 22 Galeries Lafayette affiliated stores. Wilhelm Hubner, who has requested a large loan from the State – a sign that the company is at its worst – wanted to speak to Parisian-Today in France just before going before the judges.
