Two soldiers from the municipalities of Girardot and Charalá, who were doing their military service in the Air Maintenance Command, managed to satisfactorily comply with the legal requirements to join the Colombian Air Force as NCOs. For approximately two years, future non-commissioned officers must carry out high-quality instruction and education in accordance with the needs for the fulfillment of the institutional mission.
The NCO school “CT. Andrés M. Diaz” will welcome these young people, who will integrate the NCO 97 course. Likewise, their relatives between hugs and emotional words will encourage them to start a new life project, aware that they will receive in this High Quality Accredited Higher Education Institution, a training based on fundamental competencies in institutional principles and values, which contribute to the development and national security.
This is how, from January 16, 2023, these two students between the ages of 19 and 21, will carry out their academic processes from the specialty of Air Defense and Aeronautical Supplies in which they will receive skills and abilities that will allow them to operate systems. in order to actively participate in air control operations of Colombian airspace. Also, leaders to work in logistics center warehouses and aviation fuel systems.
