Cambodian-Hungarian wedding in Budapest

Everything started in December 2019 with the first email exchange, and since then we have gone through several date changes, thanks to the epidemic. As for the decoration, we always kept the powder and greenery line in mind, the bride is of Cambodian origin, so before the wedding in Budapest, they already had a traditional ceremony in Cambodia, which I was lucky enough to see pictures of. The golden decorations of the Cambodian ceremony returned to the wedding in Hungary. The tables were decorated with floral accents in golden goblets, while the ceiling lamps were accentuated with hanging greens. We made the decoration even more sophisticated with gold cutlery and gold chiavari chairs. The textile napkins provided by the hotel were decorated with fine powder ribbons and a sprig of greenery to match the decoration. The terrace, where the reception and the cocktail hour took place, we made it more cozy with a powder tablecloth and a richly decorated round gate, but the railing was also decorated with a garland of greens along its entire length. One of my favorite details about the wedding is that the dress was designed by the bride herself, who is a fashion designer. The bridesmaids received bouquets to match their powder dresses. It was a special challenge how to preserve the bouquets in such a way that they would last all the way to Pannonhalma, the ceremony held in the Abbey, and the return trip in their best condition. We solved this by placing vases in flower boxes, so the bouquets were practically hydrated, i.e. in water, during the journey. The cake was decorated with flowers provided by us.
