Camille Combal Shares Hilarious Tale of Son’s Birth Next to French Singer Vitaa

A heartwarming and humorous story has emerged from French television personality Camille Combal regarding the birth of his son, revealing a coincidental hospital room neighbor that added an unexpected twist to the momentous occasion. The popular host of TF1, known for his engaging personality, recently shared the anecdote in an interview with Lou, as reported by Télé-Loisirs on July 21.

Combal, a proud father, recounted the lengthy labor process with his partner, journalist Marie Treille Stefani. “We are on a birth which had to last almost 11 days so you have time to say to yourself: ‘Waow I will really be a father,’” he explained, detailing the anticipation and emotional build-up. However, it was the identity of the patient in the adjacent room that truly surprised him.

The neighboring patient was none other than French singer Vitaa. “What is crazy is that my wife gave birth in the room next to Vitaa,” Combal revealed, adding with amusement, “And I told myself that everything had gone very fast [for her], everything had gone well. The little one cried as [s’il chantait], he made thirds when he was crying. And we next to it, it was really the hassle. But it’s part of the beauty of the moment, but in real life, Waahh…”

Beyond the amusing coincidence of the birth location, Combal also offered a glimpse into his family life at home. The 43-year-old presenter of Mask Singer playfully described his current status within the household. “I am tolerated in the house but it should not be exaggerated either. I must not enter their circle which is not ‘To them’ of course. And I, from time to time I have the right to pass a small head. For example, in the morning, I can’t get into her room. If it is me who comes back first, he shouts: ‘No, you come from there, it’s not you, it’s mom.’ Very cool from 6 am!” he shared, highlighting the adorable, yet firm, boundaries set by his young son.

Combal previously discussed balancing his demanding career with family responsibilities in an interview with Ouest-France last April. He emphasized his commitment to a “very normal family life,” acknowledging his fortunate position within the entertainment industry. “I have restorers’ parents which make more hours than me. I saw them serve very heavy trays, to run everywhere all day… So, when I wait on a set of shooting, I realize that it is not the same arduousness,” he stated, expressing gratitude for the flexibility afforded by his profession.

The anecdote offers a charming and relatable insight into the life of a beloved public figure, demonstrating that even amidst the glamour of the entertainment world, the joys and challenges of parenthood remain universally experienced.
