Camilo offers Cap Roig a joyful and emotional show

The Colombian singer, composer, musician and producer Camilo premiered this Friday night on the stage of the Cap Roig Festival with a cheerful show, with a lot of rhythm and many sentimental brushstrokes and with surprise included, the interpretation of various subjects alongside his wife.

The international star of the new Latin pop took to the stage where four giant screens and a large light structure simulating a tipi, the tent of the Indians, awaited them. Camilo played some drums full of water and already with the first notes of “Kesi” he had the whole stand on their feet.

The Latin artist who succeeds around the world, in addition to great musical ability, playing four instruments, has also shown signs of a great sense of humor by addressing the audience several times in the concert organized by Clipper ‘sLive with the impetus of CaixaBank in the botanical gardens of Cap Roig.

Camilo Echeverri Correa, Camilo, was born on March 16, 1994 in Medellín, in 2008 he made his debut after winning the X Factor talent contest in his country a year earlier and today he is among the leaders of Latin music in the whole world.

Tonight he has performed in front of more than 2,000 people alongside his group composed of percussion, bass, guitar and keyboard and by surprise he has introduced to his “Tribe” (his followers) from Catalonia his “wife and mother of his daughter”, the Venezuelan singer and actress Evaluna Montaner who has sung three songs with him, among them “For the first time” and MachuPichu”.

His followers have accompanied him standing for most of the concert, dancing and singing songs such as “Ropa cara”, “Favorito”, “La mitad” or “Pesadilla”, which was born from his fascination with the sound of Mexican roots that always inspire him and it’s about a nightmare in which he thinks his girl is being taken away, but in the end “they’re taking her away without even dreaming.”

The charismatic artist, dressed in trousers and a white striped shirt and barefoot, joked with the audience by uttering two words in Catalan “moles mot” (moles mot) and promising, quickly withdrawing it, that the next concert would do everything in Catalan.

“There are 8,000 million people in this world and I’m the one coming to end my European tour in Catalonia in Cap Roig”, said the singer before performing “Millions”, a song that, like “Tattoo” , in which he collaborates with Rauw Alejandro, has got everyone on their feet moving to the rhythm of his vibrant sounds.

The artist, who during the concert makes several trips to the center of his heart, and reflects on heartbreak and valuing yourself without taking into account “likes, followers or what others expect of you”, arrives to millions of people with his songs that transmit good vibes with catchy verses.

The artist momentarily put an end to the concert with his cheerful “Vida de Rico”, and moments later he returned to the stage to thank the audience for confirming “that someone else believes that love is the greatest of the revolutions” and has asked them to keep their cell phones in their pockets for at least one song.

After conquering Cap Roig, the Latin artist who will release his third studio album next September 6, will start his new tour in New York, Mexico DF, Miami, Orlando, Edinburg (the USA) and other cities of ‘North America.

The person in charge of taking the stage this Saturday at the Botanical Gardens of Calella de Palafrugell will be Mika, icon of international pop music with more than 10 million records sold.
