Thiruvananthapuram: The CPM has come out against Union Minister V Muraleedharan over the K Rail issue. The CPM criticized the campaign against the Silver Line as a violation of federal principles. The Union Minister is going home against the project which was sanctioned in principle by the Center. The Supreme Court also approved the project. The CPM criticized V Muraleedharan’s action as paradoxical. The CPM state secretariat said in a press release that Muraleedharan was trying to create law and order problems.

Education Minister V Sivankutty and Public Works Minister Mohammad Riyaz had criticized V Muraleedharan. Mohammad Riyaz said that he should stand with the people of Kerala on development issues. Mohammad Riyaz said that he had not heard the Union Minister from Kerala talking about development till now. V Maraleedharan also took action against the state on the issue of horses. Mohammad Riyaz said that even then the ministers from Kerala did not reply.

V Muraleedharan The BJP is going to stage a strike using the state government vehicle and police system. Shivankutty said that this is a very bad thing. If we believe in democracy, we have to leave the official vehicle and other machinery of the state government and go in the BJP’s vehicle for the anti-K rail agitation. Support for K Rail is on the rise. It is a disgrace to strike against the government with the facility of the government. It is rare for a Union Minister to come out against a development project. V Sivankutty opined that V Muraleedharan was not doing any good for Kerala as a Union Minister.

The family announced their readiness to vacate the site for the project, chanting pro-Silver Line slogans in front of V Muraleedharan and his team.

In the middle of the home visit, the family made it clear that they were willing to donate land for the Silver Line project. The family demanded K train in front of V Muraleedharan and chanted slogans in favor of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. However, V Muraleedharan said that it was the family of the CPM ward councilor who spoke in favor of the project.
