Manchester United players disappointed (Reuters)
Manchester United suffered just two days ago the first loss of Ralph Rangnik’s era at the club and were stopped after a streak of eight unbeaten games in all competitions, but despite a relatively good and stable period on the pitch, according to reports in England the situation in the club’s locker room is far from calm.
The Daily Mail reported what is defined as a real crisis in the locker room, which includes a kind of “camping” when various “clicks” were formed in the staff and the players are not united. This is because, according to the report, many players who did not receive credit under Ola Gunnar Solskjaer and hoped that the situation would change with his departure, have been sidelined even since Rangnik arrived.
The report claimed that no less than 11 players are interested in leaving in the January transfer window and that the resentment they feel towards the professional echelon at the club threatens the harmony in the locker room. If that’s not enough, the report claims that the players are also unimpressed by Rangnik’s form of training and tactics.
Among the actors mentioned in the Nitzan report are Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, Donny Van de Bick, Eric Bay and Dean Henderson. A source at the club said: “The situation is not good, the atmosphere at the club is very bad and it seems that there are going to be big problems for United.”
