London: The Wimbledon Tennis Championships start tomorrow. In the men’s category, Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and Iga Sweat’s are the top seed. No one has won the Wimbledon men’s title since 2002 except the so-called Big Four. Curiosity is rife as to whether the Italian, who has won two consecutive titles at the Pulcourt season, will replace Matteo or Beretini in recent history.
Despite the absence of Danil Medvedev, Alexander Sverev and Roger Federer, defending champion Djokovic is still the favorite. Top seed Djokovic and second seed Nadal will face each other in the final. Nadal fans share the desire for a calendar slam, but the fact remains that the Spanish legend has not won Wimbledon since 2010.
