In Tnuva, I sent letters to the company’s employees to explain how they would conduct themselves as part of the strike. “Dear female and male employees”, the management addressed the employees. “As the national food company, we cannot sit on the sidelines when Israeli society is facing such a significant crisis. Following the call of the chairman of the Histadrut, the management of the group and the Tnuva workers’ organization announce the shutdown of the company’s headquarters in Petah Tikva starting today, March 27 at 2:00 p.m. Out of responsibility for the public’s food security, Tnuva’s production lines and distribution system will continue to operate as normal. We will continue to act with restraint and mutual respect and will protect the house.”
