By briefly exposing them to their phobia, in combination with a one-time pill, the ingrained fear response should disappear. And it has been successful: according to their own account, 83% of Kindt Clinics customers are relieved of their anxiety after just one treatment session and it does not come back after that.
The phobia clinic specializes in all types of phobias, some forms of panic attacks and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). But for that it has to have all those phobias ‘in stock’, to confront the patients with them. For common phobias such as spiders, dogs, heights, bees and wasps, needles, birds and the like, it is not that difficult. But for rare cases, such as vomiting, the search is more difficult.
