Canada also brings down an unidentified flying object

Canada shot down an unidentified flying object that violated the country’s airspace this Saturday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced.

Combat aircraft of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad), formed by the US and Canada, shot down the object flying over Yukon, the country’s northwestern territory, at high altitude

“I ordered the downing of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace,” Trudeau said on Twitter.

The incident comes a day after the US also dropped a similar object. Joe Biden’s administration also ordered the downing of a Chinese hot air balloon for allegedly spying on military installations.

Aircraft from the United States and Canada took part in the operation to track the artifact, although it was an American F-22 that “successfully fired” at the object, the prime minister said , which was coordinated with the President of the United States, Joe Biden. Trudeau assured that the Canadian Armed Forces will recover the remains of the downed device for analysis.

On Friday, US President Joe Biden ordered the shooting and downing of an unidentified object flying over frozen waters in the state of Alaska. The White House has not given details about the origin of the aforementioned object, but it has explained that it was different from the Chinese balloon that was shot down last week after flying over several states in the United States.

The United States has accused the Chinese Government of having developed, with the involvement of the Armed Forces, a “program” of balloons for espionage tasks and which have already flown over more than 40 countries on 5 continents.

Due to the discovery of the said balloon, the Secretary of State of the United States, Antony Blinken, suspended a trip he had planned to make to Beijing.

China defends that the balloon that the United States brought down last Saturday was a meteorological device that “deviated from its original course” due to “force majeure”.
