Canada imposed sanctions on Russian companies and individuals

The Canadian authorities have included 382 Russian citizens in their sanctions lists. This was reported on the website of the government of the country. In addition, the sanctions apply to 27 financial institutions and five Russian companies, including large banks, transport and oil companies. In total, there are 32 legal entities on the list.

Earlier it also became known that the Japanese government decided to strengthen sanctions against Russia due to a special military operation to protect the DPR and LPR. The issuance of visas to citizens of the Russian Federation and the assets of financial institutions will be frozen. The export of goods to organizations associated with the military sector will also be limited, TASS reports.

Meanwhile, Venezuela condemned US sanctions against Russia. This statement was made in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country. The ministry added that these sanctions affect human rights.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the West was developing its own sanctions against Russia long before the aggravation of the situation around Ukraine.
