Canada is also imposing additional sanctions against Belarus, they will affect 57 individuals.

Russia has been conducting a military operation in Ukraine since February 24. A number of countries, including Canada, have responded by imposing sanctions. Ottawa imposed restrictions against the Central Bank, Sberbank, VTB, Russian Railways, Gazprom, Transneft and other companies.
