Mascot 9th Games of La Francophonie
Canada will send a delegation of athletes, artists and delegates to the Games of La Francophonie in Kinshasa as announced by the Canadian press. It will be made up of about sixty people.
The Canadian government has, however, taken all measures to ensure that its delegation is in the best possible conditions. The latter will have its own medical team and members will have Sim cards and telephones to allow them to be geolocated at all times. A security firm has been hired and training will be given to all participants, who will be informed of the safety instructions to follow.
On the side of the National Games Committee, we continue to reassure about the holding of this organization. Visits continue to see the latest adjustments that are being made on all the sites that will host the sports competitions and cultural competitions.
As a reminder, Quebec had decided a few days ago not to send its delegation which considers that the security conditions are not met and it was followed by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation which decided not to send athletes but only a reduced delegation of artists and diplomats.
