A 21-year-old woman has tragically died after falling while skydiving in Canada. This incident took place on August 27.

On the day of the incident, Tanya Bardasi was doing her first solo jump and met this tragic end when she failed to open her parachute in time and fell straight to the ground.
Tanya Bardasi, a philosophy student at the University of Toronto, went skydiving at Skydive Toronto in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada.
Skydive Toronto said in a statement on Twitter that Bardasi opened his parachute at a low altitude and did not have enough time and altitude to open a reserve parachute at the time of the crash. He succumbed to fatal injuries in the incident, the statement said.
“The team at Skydive Toronto Inc has been deeply affected by this accident as they have spent over 50 years refining their student training program,” the statement said.
Bardasi joined the skydiving community only recently. In this case, his death has caused an uproar among his new friends and fellow jumpers.
