jpnn.comJAKARTA – Golkar Party politician Dhifla Wiyani believes that the lawsuit by the Anies-Muhaimin and Ganjar-Mahfud couple regarding the existence of Gibran Rakabuming Raka as Prabowo Subianto’s deputy has expired.
He also assessed that the lawsuit filed against the KPU at the Constitutional Court was highly praised and even led to opinion.
“Supporters of 01 and 03 are leading the opinion that the MK Council will definitely grant their lawsuit,” said Dhifla in his statement, Saturday (30/3).
He said that it was very likely that the 2024 presidential election would be repeated without the presence of Prabowo and Gibran as participants.
“That Pair 02 should get zero votes. The contents of the lawsuit filed by these two candidate pairs are very unreasonable,” he continued.
He explained that the Election Law clearly states that the Constitutional Court only examines voting disputes, whether in legislative elections, presidential elections or regional elections.
“The Constitutional Court cannot decide outside of what is regulated by the Election Law. Meanwhile, Candidate Pair 01 and 03 have no problem with the vote dispute,” he said.
He explained that according to Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections as amended by Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perpu) Number 1 of 2022 (Election Law), if there are parties who have objections regarding the nomination process of a candidate, they must be reported in Bawaslu.
