Canonic Security (NYSE: Canonic Security), a start-up company for cyber security for the protection of widgets and business SaaS plugins, has completed a $ 6 million lime fundraiser from investors in Israel and around the world: First Round Capital, Elron Ventures, SV Angel, Operator Partners and toDay Ventures.
At the same time, the company launched the enterprise application management platform – Canonic App Governance, which makes it possible for the first time to protect business applications with sandbox technology.
The platform leads the field of SaaS application security, enabling organizations to simulate the behavior of widgets and third-party plugins in real time in a dedicated SaaS environment before providing access to organizational resources. The funds raised will enable the company to accelerate its launch with the launch of the platform and continue to develop the unique solution, which has already been implemented in more than twenty organizations around the world.
The company was founded in 2020 by a team of experienced entrepreneurs in the cyber industry, the company’s CEO Boris Gorin and VP of Technology Niv Steingarten. For installations in thousands of organizations, Niv Steingarten, former founder and partner of OverOps, led the design and development of one of the first solutions in the field of application performance analysis.
Canonic Security currently employs more than thirty people, including cyber researchers and software engineers from leading security companies such as PerimeterX, Sygnia and Proofpoint.
